Relocating from Brooklyn, New York, to a small town in Texas, I’ve had the extraordinary privilege of serving as a substitute teacher within the local school district. The students in this town repeatedly overcome challenges despite their circumstances, and it’s truly inspiring.

At times, school can be difficult to navigate, let alone challenging. These students have shown me the importance of not only understanding the material but also feeling seen and valued. My goal has always been to create an environment where students feel heard, encouraged, and motivated to keep pushing through.

Having worked with the New York City Board of Education across all grades, from general education to special needs, and later as a teacher for an online private school serving students who are either homeschooled or physically unable to attend school due to illness, my experiences have led me to create Scholars Edge Tutoring. Operating online allows me to provide every student with the opportunity to seek assistance.

If I can make someone's learning experience a little more enjoyable, perhaps school will feel a little less stressful and a lot more rewarding.
